This Privacy Policy explains how Show Up & Close, LLC ("Show Up & Close," "SU&C," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit showupandclose.agency, submit a producer application, or communicate with us by phone, email, or text message.
We are an independent insurance sales agency that recruits, contracts, and supports licensed insurance producers. The people whose information we handle through this site are prospective and active producers — not insurance consumers.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit a producer application, we collect: your first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, the insurance lines and states in which you are licensed, your current production situation, policies written in the last 90 days, your weekly appointment capacity, your preferred engagement path (1099 or W-2), your stated seriousness about production, your willingness to follow a compliant scripted sales process, and your written response about fit.
If we move forward with you, we may later collect additional information required to contract and appoint you, including your National Producer Number, state license numbers, background and licensing history, tax identification information, and banking details for commission payment.
Information collected automatically
We collect standard technical information when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. We use this to keep the site working and to understand which recruiting channels perform.
Information from third parties
We may receive information about you from insurance carriers, our field marketing organization, state departments of insurance, background-check vendors, and licensing databases — in each case for the purpose of contracting, appointing, and supervising you as a producer.
2. How we use information
- To review, score, and respond to your producer application
- To contact you about your application by phone, email, and text message
- To contract, license-verify, appoint, onboard, train, and supervise you as a producer
- To route appointments to your calendar and administer appointment supply
- To calculate and pay compensation, and to track issued business and persistency
- To meet insurance regulatory, carrier, anti-fraud, and recordkeeping obligations
- To improve our recruiting process and measure which channels produce successful producers
3. Text messages and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service or messaging delivery providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We send text messages only to applicants and producers who have provided express written consent. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of applying, of being accepted, or of any contract with us. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. See our SMS Terms for full program details.
4. When we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell consumer data of any kind. We share information only as follows:
| Who | Why |
|---|---|
| Service providers | CRM, messaging, email, calendar, e-signature, hosting, and analytics vendors that operate on our behalf under contract |
| Our field marketing organization and insurance carriers | To contract you, verify licensing, obtain carrier appointments, and administer commissions |
| Background and licensing verification vendors | To confirm eligibility to be appointed |
| Regulators and law enforcement | Where required by law, subpoena, or insurance regulatory obligation |
| A successor entity | In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy |
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. How long we keep information
Applications that do not result in a contract are retained for up to 24 months so we can reconsider you if circumstances change, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Records relating to contracted producers, issued business, and commissions are retained for as long as required by carrier agreements and state insurance recordkeeping rules, which is generally a minimum of five to seven years after the relationship ends.
6. Your choices and rights
- Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
- Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We may still send you transactional messages about an application or contract in progress.
- Access, correction, and deletion: email privacy@showupandclose.agency and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to retain certain records where insurance law requires it.
- State privacy rights: depending on where you live, you may have rights to know, delete, correct, or limit certain uses of your personal information, and to be free from discrimination for exercising them. Use the same address above.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls limiting producer data to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
This site and our programs are intended for adults seeking insurance producer opportunities. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date above and, where the change is material, notify applicants and producers by email.
